To suppress the town’s just struggle against building the annexation and separation wall,the Israeli army waged several campaigns of detention,targeted hundreds of freedom viterans,carried out during mid-night invasions.

The army used to invade the town on foot and in large numbers besieging the town.then they call for the military jeeps to keep on marching in the streets horrifying the sleeping families by throwing sound bombs and shooting tear gas canisters in random. This consequently caused breathing difficulties,skin diseases,abortion and panic.

The way the soldiers look is very terrifying.they are well-equipped with guns,tear gas,heavy helmets,sound and barashoot bombs and having colours or masks on their faces.they also hold torches,maps,hammer and dogs and behaving as if they are in a battle field. When they arrive at the site where the person is wanted,they damage the gate if the owner gets afew minutes late. Inside the house,they a waken all,gather them in one room and with no compunction beat or shoot any person who resist the arrest. The search for the un lawful materials they pretend is usually followed by damaging the furniture and vandalism.
The fear or weeping of children doesn’t change their maletreatment and ill-manners.

In two years,the number of the detainees exceeded 250. They are of different ages(12-55), talents and jobs. School and university students were deprived from joining their academic institutions for long.they were also forced to pay heavy fines added to long time detention.

In 2010,they israli occupation army arrested the master-minds of the non-violent protests namely ibrahim amireh,Hassan mousa and zaydoon srour,summoned them to a military court and charging them with incitement and organizing unlawful protests against the wall.we wonder how could a person seeks freedom and justice to his nation be charged with incitement? The sentenced them to one year detention and $2500 as a fine.

In fact, the detainees belong to all families which shows that the town is completely united and all paid the price of national inclination.where will the army hide their shame for detining activists who struggle for the honour of their country? Do doubt,it is meant to kill an idea and a faith,but it strend thened the idea and fostered the devotion.
